SAT APR21-07 - Hundreds attended renowned designer Peter Nygård's special appearance at Dillard's Beachwood Place in Cleveland, OH, where he personally showcased the PETER NYGÅRD & NYGÅRD Collection Spring & Summer 07 collections. A surprise performance was given by long time friend & critically acclaimed country singer/songwriter Tanya Tucker.

As part of the company's ongoing international campaign to increase awareness & support of breast cancer, the fashion show featured guest models who were proud breast cancer survivors. "Breast cancer is our corporate charity of choice, not just during breast cancer awareness month in OCT, but 12 months of the years", says Peter Nygård.

APR18 was declared Peter Nygård Day in Toledo. During a special 'Welcome Breakfast' hosted by Eastwood Mall in Youngstown, OH, Mayor Ralph Infante & Eastwood Mall honored Nygård by presenting him with a Key to the City of Niles. The fashion mogul met with students & faculty from YSU to discuss the many facets of the fashion industry.

As part of the Cleveland tour stop, Nygård was invited to be a guest on television show "That's Life" with Robin Swoboda to discuss his incredible "rags-to-riches" story, his partnership with Dillard's, alliance with Susan G Komen For The Cure & his latest fashions which have recently been featured in a national print campaign appearing in Vogue, Vanity Fair & W magazines.
