FRI DEC2-05 @ The Winnipeg Convention Centre, Peter Nygård hosted over
700 VIP Guests, NYGÅRD associates, suppliers & customers who
gathered together to celebrate 19 NYGÅRD Long Term Associates (who
have worked for the company 25 & 35 years respectively) & the upcoming
Holiday Season.
Guests
attending the Gala event got a preview of NYGÅRD’s Spring 2006 fashion lines.
The NYGÅRD 'Girls & Boys' choirs entertained on the runway @
'half time' - merrily singing popular Christmas Carols.
Winnipeg's
own cavalry regiment, the Fort Garry Horse formally recognized Peter Nygård
for the leadership and support he has demonstrated toward the Canadian military
by appointing him Honorary Captain to the legendary Fort Garry Horse
Regiment and elected Senator to the Fort Garry Horse Regiment Senate.

The evening continued with a wonderful Christmas buffet featuring an
international flavour, the dance floor was full soon after as everyone
danced the night away!
